Xmas Eve Brunch!

It was so good to spend time with my sis and her husband this past week, they are the kind of couple who is always up for anything!! We spent christmas eve morning at Watercourse, a vegan place in uptown Denver. Decorated with one of a kind art pieces it quickly became one of my favorite places. I had the blackened tofu, and my sis had the breakfast sandwich, the bread was amazing. Overall I spent three days in the city and four days in the mountains. Pretty sweet vacation.

Mini Pizza's

It's Sunday night and the boys are over watching the Boat Parade. I wanted to make them something special so I used a cupcake tin to make mini pizza's. We're loving these, they told me it was like eating cupcakes for dinner. Success.

Wreath I made with Succulents!

This month's flying by and I'm getting more into the Christmas spirit everyday. Eager to begin decorating, I got up early this morning and  made a trip to Home Depot, to pick up three variations of succulents: Propagate, Flowering, and Aloe. I bought the wreath and floral wiring at Michael's and used wire cutters from my dad's toolbox. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the succulents from their containers, and another 15-30 minutes to completely arrange and fascine the plants. This project went better than expected and the arrangment lasted clear to New Years.
